Weekend Rides is proud to once again offer this Black metallic with tan leather highly optioned 6 speed Porsche 993 Cabrio which we own several years ago and had sold to a long time client.

Some recent major services include a new top steering rack brakes and fresh fluids.

The radio has been upgraded to the Porsche retro with navigation.

The 993 has wood trim dash shifter and handbrake lever and the immobilizer has the relay bypass.

The Cabrio has its original date stamped original books,

Underneath the hood it wears its correct data decal, a jack, full set of tools,  spare tire with compressor and boot cover.

The Cabrio wears all original paint, there is typical 25 years of wear on the front bumper and the windshield has multiple road chips.

We owned the Cabrio first about 7 years ago, we had acquired it with some very minor water intrusion of unknown origin as an insurance loss in New Hampshire.

The variorum 993 has no warning lights on and has a clear Pennsylvania title in our name.

It is not branded. The carfax does show its insurance loss.

The current miles are 100,254

It’s options include:

X72 Gear Lever in Light Burl Walnut With Aluminum Inlay

X91 Hand Brake Lever in Light Burl Walnut With Aluminum

Option 220 is very rare, a locking differential (40%)

Option 224 is ABD (active brake differential).

Option 398 17-inch Cup design wheels

Option 437 Full power seat driver

Option M454 AUTOMATIC SPEED CONTROL

Lastly the 993 had 09991 which Means the car has an option from the Sonderwunsch Program, now called Exclusive.

It can range from a full leather interior with even the radio dials in leather on some including Porsche crest rim caps.

Lastly the 993 has option 09991 which means it stayed on the normal production line and the X option was installed in situ. Cars that have the 09981 code were physically transferred to the “Werk 1” to have all X options installed.

During visits to the Porsche museum in Stuttgart by Rick Bolus there is  “Werk 1” where you can sometimes see cars waiting for “the treatment”

At that time we replaced the dme and immobiler and it lived with one of our longtime clients who moved up to a 993 C4S, he sold it to his close friend who has been its custodian for about the last 5 years. We purchased it from him did a full service and are looking forward to seeing it go to a new home.
